The third annual IP Insights Forum — a full day of substantive discussion for in-house IP practitioners across Australia and New Zealand.
The In-House IP Forum
The IP Insights Forum is IP Insiders' flagship annual event — and, as far as we are aware, the only full-day forum in Australia dedicated entirely to in-house IP practitioners.
Run in partnership with Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick, the forum brings together professionals from industry, research, and academia for a day of substantive discussion on the issues that matter to people managing IP from within an organisation. The sessions are shaped by the community, for the community — not a conference programme built for private practitioners with an in-house track added as an afterthought.
In its first year, the forum attracted around 65 practitioners. By its second, it was capped at 85 — the limit of the venue. The 2026 forum will maintain that scale deliberately, keeping the conversation genuine and the room full of people who are actually doing the work.
